The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Food FairWednesday, October 13, 2004------The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton's annual Food Fair takes place Wednesday, October 20th at the EuroCan Banquet and Conference Centre at 1485 London Road (across from Famous Players Theatre). Doors open at 4:00pm and close at 8:00pm.
This year's "all you can eat" buffet features 16 Sarnia-Lambton food establishments including KFC, Tang's Chinahouse, Subway, Rizzo's, Pizza Hut, Normand Piquette Catering, Zehr's, Natrel, Ice Cream Galore, the Boathouse Restaurant, Culligan, River Rock, IGA Corunna, A&P, Alternate Grounds and the India Canada Association.
Advance tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children and are available at KFC London Road, Tang's Chinahouse, the EuroCan, and The United Way office in the St. Clair Corporate Centre. If purchased at the door, tickets are $14 for adults and $7 for children.
Food Fair is an excellent way to support the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton. All of the proceeds from this event, which typically attracts four to five hundred people, go towards the United Way's 2004 campaign. The campaign currently sits at 38% of its $1.8 Million goal.
The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton funds over 65 programs through 28 local agencies including Big Sisters, Salvation Army, VON, and the Women's Interval Home
